Set offensive and defensive formations, adjust the run-pass balance, and edit playbooks, including during games. Play-by-play records describe each play, while box scores and play-by-play files are created for every game. Player development and aging continue for up to 100 future seasons. The game includes historical draft classes, season-specific schedules and playoff formats, overtime settings, wild-card team options, shorter schedules, and custom league configurations. Two players can compete on one computer, and online play is supported. Fantasy drafts can include more than one human-controlled team, and playbooks can be saved, shared online, or imported.
