RPGIs Flyist worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who enjoy short reaction-based flying challenges rather than slower simulations
- Players who want a one-key control scheme instead of complex flight controls
- Players who like chasing distance and collectibles during obstacle runs
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a detailed flight simulation may find the one-key rise-and-descend control too limited.
- Players who prefer a fixed pace may hit a wall as the plane accelerates and hazards require quicker reactions.
- Players looking for team management or strategic planning will not find those systems here.
Our take on Flyist
The likely bounce point is the rising speed: once the plane accelerates, players who cannot switch altitude quickly enough may stop making progress. The single-key control keeps the input simple, but the challenge still depends on reacting to rocks and other hazards.
What is Flyist?
Fly a small plane through obstacles, steering above or below rocks and collecting stars along the route.
Other hazards also appear, and the plane’s speed increases. The controls use one key: holding it makes the plane rise, while releasing it makes the plane descend. The goal is to travel as far as possible and gather many stars. Play centers on reacting to hazards and changing altitude as the plane moves forward.
How Flyist plays
- 01One-key flight control
- Holding the key sends the plane upward; releasing it makes the plane descend.
- 02Increasing flight speed
- The plane gets faster as the flight continues.
- 03Star collection
- Stars can be gathered while navigating the course.
