Our take on Fishing on the Fly
The defining structure is a 14-chapter fly-fishing progression set across modeled western rivers, with seasonal hatches changing the conditions and Fish Bucks funding additional equipment and flies.
What is Fishing on the Fly?
Fishing on the Fly is a fly-fishing simulation set on modeled rivers in the American West.
Players cast for trophy fish while adapting to changing seasonal hatches and fishing conditions. The game includes 14 chapters, multiple rivers and play modes, equipment and fly choices, and challenges that become more complex over time. Fish Bucks earned through play can be used on in-game equipment and flies. Caught fish and gear can be displayed in a personal man cave. Wildlife includes bears and other fish species, while the river environments are based on USGS data. The game uses a retro presentation and was made with Unreal Engine 3.
