Our take on Fast Dust

The career mode ties progression to race results, virtual entry fees, and optional bets, so it gives less room for a purely casual sequence of races. Quick Race offers a separate way to choose a car, track, and format without that career structure.

What is Fast Dust?

Fast Dust is a racing game with 10 cars and 70 tracks across a forest, canyon, and old factory town.

The routes cover 270 miles (430 km) and include rain, snow, fog, daytime, and night driving. Race types include standard events against several drivers, elimination races with route gates, solo checkpoint events, and solo countdown races. Career mode starts a driver at the bottom of a ranking of 155 competitors. Winning races provides virtual money for entry fees and unlocks speed tuning, acceleration tuning, turbo, and shortcut maps. Players can also place bets using cash or a car, with the possibility of losing. Quick Race allows car, track, and race-type selection. Online races support up to 7 participants.

How Fast Dust plays

01Career progression
Race wins raise a driver's position among 155 competitors and unlock upgrades to purchase.
02Four race formats
Events include races against several drivers, eliminations at route gates, solo timed checkpoints, and solo countdown runs.
03Pre-race betting
Bets can use virtual cash or a car, and a lost bet can forfeit the stake.
04Online races
A single race can include up to 7 players.
05Changing road conditions
Tracks feature rain, snow, fog, daytime, and night driving.

Fast Dust compared to similar games

Unlike Barro, which describes arcade races against three opponents, time trials, and split-screen multiplayer, Fast Dust includes a career ranking, four race formats, and online races for up to 7 participants. GRIP: Combat Racing centers on wheeled and airborne vehicles with weapons, while Fast Dust focuses on battered cars, varied road conditions, and shortcuts.
