Our take on Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory
The focus on rapid combat inputs and governing decisions leaves less room for a relaxed pace. Moving between party battles and choices with story consequences makes the experience more demanding than a combat-only RPG.
What is Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory?
Fallen Legion: Rise to Glory combines two campaigns.
Sins of an Empire follows Princess Cecille and a talking grimoire as she tries to restore her homeland. Flames of Rebellion follows Legatus Laendur as he gathers support against the empire. In battles, players control up to four characters, combine attacks, and block enemy strikes with precise timing. The party faces rival soldiers, dragons, enemy hordes, and bosses across hand-drawn 2D environments. Between battles, players govern an empire and make rapid decisions that affect the story. Choices can include blackmailing a prince for a strength increase or taxing a village to revive a character. The campaigns present opposing perspectives on the war in Fenumia.
