Our take on Fairground 2 - The Ride Simulation
The ride-focused design leaves out the management layer found in amusement-park tycoon games. The result is a narrower activity set centered on operating, recording, replaying, and viewing rides rather than building a business or balancing park systems.
What is Fairground 2 - The Ride Simulation?
Fairground 2 is a ride-focused simulation with 15 original amusement rides, including Breakdance, Booster, Condor/Ikarus, FlicFlac, Flipper, Flyaway, Giant Frisbee, Jump2, Magic, Maxishot, Suspended TopSpin, Takeoff, Topple Tower, and Troika.
Each ride can be operated with its full set of controls. Players can record ride sequences, replay them, and view the experience from the ride's perspective. The game includes 10 pre-made programs for every ride, more than 20 in-game music tracks, and a walkable amusement park with themed surroundings. Visual and environmental settings include fog, lighting and fire effects, adjustable day and night conditions, and skies ranging from sunny to extremely cloudy. It focuses entirely on riding rather than management or tycoon gameplay.
