Our take on Extreme Evolution: Drive to Divinity
The game gives up a tightly directed platforming route in favor of movement experimentation across broad spaces. That design leaves traversal open-ended and places the transformation system, resource collection, and abstract setting ahead of conventional structure.
What is Extreme Evolution: Drive to Divinity?
Extreme Evolution: Drive to Divinity is an expressive platformer set in broad, open spaces within an organic underworld, with Earth visible in the distance.
Explore Sites, enter holes to open new areas, and find evolutionary forms in locations such as temples. Transform between known forms at any time and combine their movement abilities to cross obstacles in different ways. Examples include using Car for large jumps, Pump to throw junk, Bomp to bounce, Spide to cling upside down, and Tire to launch the experiment.
Gather raw § to permanently raise the maximum §. The game includes procedural visual effects, rapid multicolor flashing, and strobing. Sharp mode, Reduced Animation, and Simplified Backgrounds change the visuals, but the strongest effects cannot be fully disabled.
