Is ExoCross worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Off-road racing fans who want simulated vehicle handling rather than a purely arcade-style driving game.
- Players who enjoy progressing through AI racing series tied to a small set of cars.
- Competitive racers who want online circuit rounds and leaderboard challenges.
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a large vehicle roster may find the three-car selection limiting.
- Those who prefer varied race formats may find the focus on circuits and speed challenges repetitive.
- Players looking for open-world exploration may prefer a game built around freely chosen routes rather than race circuits.
Our take on ExoCross
The detailed vehicle model and staged progression come with a narrow garage: racing is built around three cars, each positioned as a step up in power and difficulty. That limits vehicle variety in exchange for a focused progression through the available cars.
What is ExoCross?
ExoCross is an off-road racing game set on the planet Proteus.
Its driving model simulates chassis, suspension, and soft tires, including weight transfer, understeer, and oversteer. Races use slipstream to recharge acceleration power. Three cars progress from the Vulcan XC-1500 to the more challenging Orion XC-3000 and Titan XC-7000. The game includes 19 track layouts, each raceable in either direction, across four zones. Career mode contains six series, with up to 10 races per season against AI drivers. Challenge mode offers 48 tasks and a global leaderboard. Online play includes challenges and circuit races, with players voting on the cars and tracks used.
