Our take on Evil Mountains
Its defining structure links wilderness survival to escalating alien attacks on a player-built base, making exploration and preparation part of the defence cycle.
What is Evil Mountains?
This open-world survival game follows a private detective searching the Himalayan mountains for a girl who joined an alien-worshipping cult.
After a plane crash, survival comes first: manage hunger, thirst, disease, warmth, shelter, and player condition while exploring forests, caves, lakes, villages, and snowy peaks across an approximately 12 sqkm world. Hunt, fish, gather plants, mine minerals, farm crops, and craft tools, weapons, clothing, armor, medicines, workbenches, and buildings. Alien creatures and wildlife threaten exploration, while increasingly difficult attacks can target the player’s base. Attributes, perks, cooking, crafting, horses, vehicles, dynamic weather, and a day/night cycle support preparation for escape.

Evil Mountains compared to similar games
Evil Mountains combines open-world wilderness survival with alien enemies, farming, illness management, and attacks on a constructed base. Mr. Prepper also centers on survival crafting and shelter construction, but its description focuses on an underground shelter, preparation for nuclear war, and conflict with an authoritarian government.
