EscapeVR: Trapped Above the Clouds is a room-scale virtual reality escape-room game set in a partly built high-rise above the clouds.
Players explore three large areas, inspect clues, and solve puzzles to try to escape the penthouse. The setting includes equipment left behind by a canceled rooftop base-jump event and places where construction work may be needed. More than 250 items can be interacted with across over 800 square meters of space. Movement uses teleportation. A built-in hint system offers clues when players get stuck, while in-game statistics track performance and Steam achievements can be unlocked. It is the second game in the EscapeVR series, following EscapeVR: The Basement.
