Our take on Escape From Russia: Mobilization
Rather than framing a runner around a finish line or timed course, this game uses an endless escape from a pursuing commissar. Its chase premise also gives the player the option to agree to the demand instead of only avoiding capture.
What is Escape From Russia: Mobilization?
Play as a piglet fleeing a military commissar across an endlessly generated world.
Avoid holes in roads as the setting moves through locations modeled on the Russian hinterland. The commissar can catch up and demand that the piglet sign an agenda or face jail; the game also allows the piglet to agree. Running is not the only way to travel: a tractor and other borrowed vehicles can provide occasional rides. Collect items during races, including coins bearing the Emperor’s image, which can be spent on item upgrades or bribes to the commissar. A leaderboard records successful evaders, and the game features patriotic music.
