Our take on Era of Combat: Boxing
Movement is tied to the player’s body rather than thumbsticks, so dodging and weaving happen within a physical play space.
What is Era of Combat: Boxing?
Era of Combat: Boxing is a multiplayer VR boxing game focused mainly on player-versus-player fights.
Players can challenge friends in exhibition, amateur, or professional ranked matches, where reputation, stats, virtual cash, and a boxer’s title are at stake. Movement uses the player’s body: there are no thumbstick controls, and the game calls for at least 1. 5m by 2m of clear space. Solo training exercises and AI opponents are also available, but the vendor says solo play is underdeveloped and not currently recommended. The game is in Early Access, and unscheduled matches with random players may be sporadic; a match scheduling system is available. The vendor also notes that crossplay with the AppLab version is available.
