Our take on EchoBlade
Instead of presenting dungeon exploration through clear visuals, EchoBlade makes sound the primary way to perceive the environment. Darkness turns footsteps, armor noise, and weapon movement into navigational information, while combat and platforming remain part of a puzzle-focused escape structure.
What is EchoBlade?
EchoBlade is a dungeon exploration game set in a tower labyrinth where the protagonist is blind and must use sound to navigate.
Footsteps, armor noise, and weapon swings reveal nearby spaces in the darkness. Movement requires caution because pressure plates can trigger traps, while toxic chambers and other hazards occupy the tower. Combat encounters feature armored crusader knights, with a sword and crossbow available for attacks. Each level introduces different mechanics, including prison guards that patrol the area, concealed switches that open hidden passages, and puzzles incorporating platforming. The objective is to explore the tower and escape its confines.
How EchoBlade plays

- 03Sword And Crossbow

- 04Changing Level Mechanics
