Our take on Earthworms
Rather than using a conventional realistic detective setting, the game places its investigation in a hand-painted surreal science-fiction world. Parapsychic visions, horror, comedy, and a widening conspiracy replace a straightforward case structure.
What is Earthworms?
Play as Daniel White, a detective whose paranormal visions guide an inquiry into a teenage girl’s disappearance in a fishing village.
The investigation leads through increasingly bizarre places toward an international conspiracy. This hand-painted adventure uses point-and-click exploration, logical riddles, and inventory-based interactions across 34 locations drawing on Edward Hopper’s art. Its style blends pulp fiction, horror, humor, surreal imagery, and science fiction. A dedicated musical score accompanies a story that shifts between beauty, ugliness, strangeness, and comedy.
