Our take on Dyztopia: Post-Human RPG
The game departs from conventional RPG encounter design by placing enemies visibly in the environment and removing the option to flee. Its structure also connects character development to choices about companions, skills, and stat investment across repeated playthroughs.
What is Dyztopia: Post-Human RPG?
Dyztopia: Post-Human RPG follows a rogue agent in a world changed by a demonic invasion.
The last human, the President, seeks to exploit the remaining world and bring humanity back. The side-scrolling campaign covers 10 locations and three chapters, with bosses along the route. Turn-based battles use the Hype system, which rewards exploiting enemy weaknesses while allowing foes to do the same. Enemies appear on-screen, and fleeing is not available.
The MP system begins each player with 4 MP and grants 1 more every turn for spell use. Characters can join the party with distinct skills, while time spent with them reveals their backstories and supports their growth in battle. Choices affect companions, skills, and stat investment. The game includes more than 150 monsters and multiple difficulty modes.
