The game gives up a purely focused shop-management experience by combining retail work with cave combat and exploration. That split adds several systems to manage, but means shop operations are not the only activity shaping progression.
What is Dwarf Shop?
Run a fantasy shop staffed by dwarves while working toward a dragon for the Dragon Clan.
Assign one dwarf to gather ingredients in underground caves as others craft equipment. Crafted items can be assigned to dwarves for station bonuses or sold to customers, with pricing guided by their emotes. Shop crafting increases its level, allowing stronger dwarves and access to additional recipes. Smasher the BattleMiner explores caves with different types and scaling enemies, finding treasure, equipment, gold, and ingredients. Chests can be broken open during expeditions. Resting restores energy and sends collected items back to the shop, allowing further exploration. Accumulated gold is the main progression goal.
