Our take on Dungeon Warfare
The store presentation foregrounds elaborate traps and chaotic dungeon hazards, but the core structure remains repeated tower-defense encounters. Its breadth comes from trap combinations, enemy types, runes, and level count rather than from a campaign focused on character or story development.
What is Dungeon Warfare?
Dungeon Warfare is a tower-defense strategy game in which a dungeon lord protects underground lairs from invading adventurers.
Players place traps and utilities to control enemy movement, eliminate attackers, and gain experience for permanent trap improvements. The game includes 26 traps, each with three upgrade tiers, plus passive enhancements. More than 40 handcrafted levels feature 22 enemy types. Difficulty can be adjusted by combining 12 challenge runes, while an endless mode becomes available after earning the Infinity rune. Other mechanics include rolling boulders, minecart hazards, abyss traps, and summoning portals that create fights between summoned forces and invaders. The game also includes more than 30 achievements and pixel-art presentation.
