Our take on Dummynation
Its defining mechanic is progressive annexation at individual map points: occupied land and its resources change hands over time, while resistance can delay the conquest and weaken the attacker.
What is Dummynation?
Dummynation is a real-time geopolitical strategy game centered on world domination.
Manage military recruitment and deployment, diplomatic relations, economic policy, research, resources, and national ideology while expanding territory. Conquests progress across individual points on the map rather than whole provinces, and resistance forces can delay annexation and weaken attackers. Spending supports research and campaigns but can impoverish the country if resources are used too heavily. Custom games allow changes to countries, territory, resources, flags, names, and game parameters, with community scenarios available through a cross-platform workshop. Multiplayer includes private custom games, battle royale matches, and team-based world wars. Replays cover both single-player and multiplayer sessions, while God mode lets the game run with artificial intelligences competing without a player-controlled country.
