Our take on Dreamy Planet
Rather than using routes, choices, or multiple endings, this visual novel presents a continuous account of a reunion. Its abandoned theme park setting also replaces the genre’s more familiar everyday or fantasy locations with a decaying site tied to the characters’ childhood.
What is Dreamy Planet?
This atmospheric yuri visual novel follows Haruka and Shiina, childhood friends who reunite after nearly five years apart.
Haruka, a nurse worn down by her job, has returned to live with her parents and withdrawn from her former life. At Shiina’s request, they visit Dreamy Planet, a neglected theme park from their youth, where memories of their friendship resurface among rusting rides and abandoned attractions. The story explores Haruka’s depression, her feelings for Shiina, and her engagement to a man, which remains important to the plot.
The game contains about 40,000 words and takes approximately 2–3 hours to read. It includes custom character artwork, a large selection of backgrounds, an original soundtrack, and a nostalgic tone. The narrative follows a fixed sequence without branching.
