Our take on Dragon of Legends
The bounce point is the combat timing: players can pick up the controls quickly, but progression demands well-timed dodges and precise attacks. Those expecting forgiving button-mashing may hit the wall once encounters require consistent timing.
What is Dragon of Legends?
Set in Manheimr, a fictional realm drawing on Viking mythology, Dragon of Legends is a two-dimensional action role-playing game.
Players build a character, choose one of three classes, and improve class-specific gear and skills. The story sends the hero on a mission to prevent Ragnarok, with the journey extending from Asgard’s entrance to Hel’s deepest regions. Battles depend on carefully timed evasive moves and precise strikes; the controls are accessible at first but demand practice to master. Pixel-based scenery and animation support the retro visual style. Modding features and Steam Workshop integration allow custom maps, armor, weapons, quests, and other player-made additions.
