Our take on Doodle Derby
The presentation leans heavily on wild track combinations and chaotic racing, while the central activity is constructing a route before every attempt. That makes the game as much a puzzle-building title as a racer, with success depending on repeated design changes.
What is Doodle Derby?
Doodle Derby combines physics-based racing with platforming and track construction.
Each level requires building a route before attempting to reach its goal, with the option to rebuild when a design fails. The single-player campaign presents puzzle challenges, while local and online multiplayer supports races for up to four players. In multiplayer, participants take turns creating and destroying sections as they try to outmaneuver one another and reach the finish first. The editor includes about 40 track elements, including monsters, rockets, piranhas, UFOs, and destructible fruit. The game also includes unlockable cars, obstacles, and levels, hidden secrets, controller support, and a soundtrack.
