Dondar is a fast platformer set on Koidya, a cave-filled planet with little surface atmosphere.
Players control a brave hero taking part in movement contests that combine speed trials with rapid puzzle solving. Progress involves navigating quickly, matching three elements, gathering coins, opening doors, and fleeing dangerous monsters. Special laser beams are part of the hero’s movement. The setting features a developed civilization and ancient caves containing unusual mechanisms. The story takes place one thousand years before the events of BlackEye.
