Our take on Don't Look Down
The focus on rapid climbing and timed routes leaves less room for open-ended exploration. Hidden rooms and secrets add optional searching, but the main structure remains 32 levels built around reaching the top quickly or taking a more deliberate route.
What is Don't Look Down?
Climb through 32 VR platforming levels across Jungle, Ice, Lava, and Tech zones.
Movement combines climbing, flinging, swinging, and riding drones with hazards such as electric pulses, spikes, crumbling holds, and rising lava. Players can shoot or smash patrolling robots, collect power-ups that provide damage resistance, fire attacks, or flight, and search hidden rooms for secrets. S. C. R. A. P. supports character customization and unlocks mods that change gameplay. Online leaderboards and races against a ghost of the best time support speed-focused runs. Players can also climb more deliberately to find hidden secrets. The objective is to defeat Gearheart and save the world. A current bug may prevent controls from working for HTC Vive and Valve Index users.
