Our take on Disposable Heroes
Its broad level count and abundance of enemies, secrets, traps and bonus stages trade a tightly focused adventure for a busier, more varied structure. The controller requirement also limits input options, especially for players who prefer keyboard controls or another gamepad.
What is Disposable Heroes?
Disposable Heroes follows four villagers sent across a darkened kingdom to find the king’s son and restore sunlight.
Players can control one hero alone or play alongside a friend in two-player co-op. The game includes more than 140 levels, over 90 enemy types, weapons such as swords, magic wands and flying orbs, magical potions, traps, bosses, secret areas and random bonus levels. Progress can be saved, while achievements, trading cards, an animated cutscene, voice acting, narration and music add presentation elements. Hidden rooms, unusual encounters, humorous writing and magical flying goats contribute to the fantasy adventure structure.
