Our take on Difficult times 2
Instead of limiting defense to stationary towers, the game combines tower placement with summoned soldiers, barricades, slowing fog, and regenerating magic. That mix shifts the usual tower-defense structure toward managing several kinds of battlefield intervention.
What is Difficult times 2?
Undead creatures and goblins advance along roads toward a portal, while the player builds defenses to stop them.
Towers attack approaching enemies, and summoned soldiers and barricades add other ways to block or damage the invasion. A slowing fog can be cast near towers to reduce enemy movement. Destroyed enemies provide rubies that can be spent on constructing towers. Magic gradually returns during play, allowing further use of magical abilities. Enemy groups include different types, including fast units and creatures with large health reserves. The game centers on placing defenses, choosing when to summon units or barriers, and managing available rubies and magic as enemies continue their attack.
