RPGIs Denizen worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Life-simulation players who want work and housing choices in a city setting
- Open-world players who want several activities beyond employment and home customization
- Players who enjoy combining social connections, leisure activities, and personal ambitions
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly focused activity loop may find the range of work, housing, leisure, and hobby systems too broad.
- Players who prefer one primary type of challenge may not want a game that includes cooking, racing, DJing, fishing, and social activities.
- Players looking specifically for a puzzle game or prison-escape RPG should consider a different genre.
Our take on Denizen
Rather than centering on one quest type, this life simulator places work, housing, leisure, and personal ambitions alongside city exploration. Cooking, fishing, racing, and DJing make everyday activities part of the game’s structure.
What is Denizen?
Build a life in Cedar Shores, an open-world city where work, housing, and leisure shape the player’s routine.
Apply for a job with a local business or start a shop, then choose a residence ranging from suburban houses to city apartments and customize it with furniture and finishes. Meet local residents, make connections, and take on challenges as ambitions guide progress. Outside work, activities include cooking, racing, DJing, fishing, and underground ventures. Players can also shop for a car, update their wardrobe, spend time with friends, or relax at a casino, club, or home. The game combines life simulation with city exploration and a range of activities.
