Our take on Demon Hunter
Its defining structure is a four-step progression loop: defeat monsters, gain materials and experience, create or improve equipment, then enter tougher dungeons.
What is Demon Hunter?
Demon Hunter is a growth-focused RPG set after a demon army destroys a once-prosperous city.
Survivors retreat behind the walls of Silver Lake Village while the player character works to reclaim the devastated land. Gameplay connects four activities: exploring dungeons and fields to fight monsters, gaining experience and assigning stats or skills, collecting materials and blueprints for equipment, and improving crafted or found items. Stronger gear and character development prepare the hero for subsequent dungeons and tougher enemies. The progression loop centers on defeating monsters, receiving or making better rewards, upgrading equipment, and advancing to higher levels.
