Our take on Decade
The store copy foregrounds the alternate history, large script, and 20 endings, while giving less attention to the management element: children age dramatically and their abilities must be handled during the investigation.
What is Decade?
Decade is an experimental narrative adventure about sending children into the past in ten-year steps to investigate how the world ended.
Players examine documents, technologies, and artefacts, then make decisions that create multiple possible futures. The children age dramatically, and their abilities must be managed during the investigation. The game explores how movements, empires, art, ideologies, and individuals develop, change, or disappear in an alternate history. Its narrative includes 20 FMV endings, a script exceeding 50,000 words, and 9 unlockable themes, each with its own soundtrack.
