Our take on Dead World
Story-focused players may hit the clearest wall at the unfinished campaign: the story is currently 66% complete, with more content planned. Those wanting a complete narrative may find that point frustrating; the roguelite and one-on-one modes provide separate ways to play.
What is Dead World?
Set in Argentina 30 years after World War III, Dead World follows Miguel as he travels to Rosario to investigate a missing shipment.
He becomes trapped in a city controlled by Las Serpientes, who hold the only bridge between Rosario and Entre Ríos, his home. This first-person shooter combines exploration for survival resources with combat against mutants and bandits using a range of weapons. A roguelite mode, A Cool Rogue, makes survival depend on player decisions and abilities. A separate 1v1 mode pits two players against each other. The story is currently 66% complete, and the developer plans to add more content over time.
