Our take on Dead Profit
Enchanting is the active timing mechanic within an otherwise passive production loop: consecutive successful inputs build a combo and raise an item's sale value.
What is Dead Profit?
Dead Profit is a time-management game about supplying magical weapons to a war between Hell and the Above.
Gather resources, forge items, and enchant them to meet orders before their deadlines. Resource gathering and forging continue passively, while production can be optimized and upgraded. Enchanting requires timed input; consecutive successful enchants build a combo that raises an item's sale value. Orders that expire return for another attempt, and completed main-campaign orders give way to randomly generated requests. Later in the game, artifacts provide passive and active abilities and can consume stored resources to grow stronger. Production statistics track measures such as combo records and item sale values.
How Dead Profit plays
- 01Timed enchantments
- Successful enchants in a row build a combo that increases the item's sale value.
- 02Returning orders
- An unfilled order comes back for another attempt, allowing preparation before it reappears.
- 03Growing artifacts
- Artifacts offer active and passive abilities and use stored resources to increase their power.
- 04Randomized requests
- After the main campaign, orders are generated randomly and keep production requests coming.
