What is DATE A LIVE: Rio Reincarnation?
This romantic visual novel follows Shido Itsuka, a high school student who can seal the powers of Spirits after encountering one.
The story takes place after disasters called spacequakes, linked to the appearance of these beings. Players choose among 11 characters and more than 150 dating events, with decisions affecting Shido’s route and the ending for a chosen girl. The game also includes Rio Sonogami, an exclusive character, and story content involving 10 other sub-characters. Three light-novel stories—Rinne’s Bathtime, Arusu’s Quest, and Rio Reunion—are available in English, with sketches and comic strips. The package also includes Rinne Utopia and Arusu Install, two earlier entries, alongside additional date endings and event illustrations in Rio Reincarnation.
