What is Dark Throne?
Dark Throne is a 2D sidescrolling RPG set in the cursed kingdom of Trimont, where eternal night has enslaved its inhabitants.
The player controls a knight seeking to remove the curse imposed by a mad king and reclaim the kingdom’s throne. Combat includes multiple enemy types and five bosses with different fighting styles. Key combinations let the knight run faster or jump farther. The RPG system has nine skills that can be developed. Freeing detained teachers unlocks additional parts of the system: an archer offers damage, vitality, and energy; a spy offers potion capacity, lifting rolls, and luck; and a sorceress offers fireball, magic shield, and mixture skills.
