Our take on Dark Romance: Heart of the Beast Collector's Edition

Players who want continuous action will likely bounce off when the game moves into listed-object searches and occasional minigames. The Collector's Edition also adds collectibles and extras around the main adventure rather than changing its core point-and-click structure.

What is Dark Romance: Heart of the Beast Collector's Edition?

A story-driven point-and-click adventure about finding the Rose of Life, the only cure for a father's worsening illness.

The journey leads through a distant kingdom where the witch Claudine has stolen the rose from a prince and cursed his realm. Players work with the prince to break the curse, free Jonathan and his servants, and undo a curse affecting Princess Narcissi during the bonus chapter. Gameplay combines hidden-object scenes, in which players search for listed items, with occasional mini-games and puzzles. The Collector's Edition adds hidden butterflies, portraits, magical objects, achievement awards, music, concept art, wallpapers, screensavers, and a bonus chapter.
