What is Crystal Story: Dawn of Dusk?
Crystal Story: Dawn of Dusk is the first episode in a retro-styled adventure series.
Players control Mina, a young adventurer searching the shattered Duskside for her kidnapped brother. The game combines fast-paced action with turn-based battles, and Mina uses fire magic called Arts to handle environmental challenges and fight enemies. Arts can be supercharged for encounters with stronger foes. Exploration includes puzzles, and an optional CRT filter changes the visual presentation. The episode takes about 3–6 hours to complete. Additional free updates are planned to add areas, sidequests, side stories, and other content; some of that content will require completing the episode. Future episodic expansions are also planned as paid additions. The game includes flashing and flickering imagery.
