Our take on Crazy Stone Deep Learning -The First Edition-
Rather than centering on a campaign or a sequence of changing scenarios, this strategy game focuses on Go itself: board-size and opponent-level choices frame individual matches. Its analysis tools also extend the structure beyond play, allowing review of current games and saved records.
What is Crazy Stone Deep Learning -The First Edition-?
Crazy Stone is a Go-playing application using neural-network evaluation alongside Monte Carlo simulation for move selection.
It provides 20 skill settings on 9×9, 13×13, and 19×19 boards. Modes include play against the program, two humans sharing one device, and automated matches between computer opponents. Rules and options cover handicaps, komi adjustment, move suggestions, immediate takebacks, byoyomi timing, and Japanese or Chinese scoring. Territory is calculated automatically. Games may be suspended, continued, stored or opened as SGF records, and reviewed with either automatic or manual playback. Analysis tools show the move sequence, a histogram, and record information for active or stored games. The interface offers two visual sets for boards and stones, marks the most recent move, and includes computer resignation.
