Our take on Corpo Tale
Rather than centering its RPG premise on kingdoms, dungeons, or historical conflict, the game places its quest inside a Test Department. Workplace routines, corporate absurdity, and department-themed classes replace the genre's usual adventure framing, while fantasy and science-fiction elements remain part of the setting.
What is Corpo Tale?
Corpo Tale follows Martin, a Senior Test Engineer facing a difficult Monday in a corporate Test Department.
The RPG combines a corporate nightmare setting with fantasy and science-fiction elements. Players can choose among 5 Test Department-related characters and classes, develop characters through numerous skills, and combine items and statistics for different builds. Non-linear quests and choices shape the adventure, while an advanced side-view battle system handles combat. Endings depend on a Morality factor, and an epilogue system reflects decisions made during play. The current demo contains only a small part of the full game. The game is not yet available in English; an English version is described as being in preparation, while an English demo is available.
