Our take on Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues
The listing emphasizes a two-sided story and an ultimate ending, but that ending is tied to completing both dojo campaigns. The campaign structure is therefore split across two sides rather than presented as one route with the full story available from the outset.
What is Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues?
Set 34 years after the 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, the game follows the continuing rivalry between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence.
Choose Miyagi-Do or Cobra Kai and play that dojo’s campaign, with distinct storylines, cutscenes and dialogue. Each campaign features characters from its dojo, and completing both unlocks an additional ending. The beat ’em up uses combos, special attacks and character swaps during combat.
Across 28 missions in Los Angeles, players fight enemies from the show and develop their characters by learning 40 skills and upgrading stats. The eight playable characters include Daniel, Robby, Sam and Demetri for Miyagi-Do, and Johnny, Miguel, Hawk and Tory for Cobra Kai. The game also features voices from William Zabka and Ralph Macchio, along with music from the show’s creators.
