Our take on Circus Pocus
Players may bounce off when progression reaches the later stages: the game explicitly raises difficulty and adds new enemies and bosses. Those expecting to rely only on hiding may also hit a wall when encounters require baton combat against groups.
What is Circus Pocus?
Circus Pocus is a top-down action adventure set in an abandoned circus surrounded by a dark forest.
After a brother is captured by hostile clowns, the playable brother explores the area alone, searching for routes into later stages. Progress involves solving puzzles, hiding from enemies, and fighting circus inhabitants with a baton. Each level is described as more difficult than the previous one and introduces additional enemies and bosses. The character can perform a somersault to cross floor stakes, whistle to draw enemies away, and use a weapon for close combat against groups of opponents.
