What is Choice of Magics?
Choice of Magics is a 550,000-word interactive fantasy novel set after civilization’s destruction by five schools of magic.
Play as male, female, or non-binary, with straight, gay, bi, or ace romances. As a young antiquities scavenger, recover spells and decide whether to rebuild, rule, or ruin the homeland. Magic includes Glamour, Divination, Automation, Vivomancy, and Negation, each carrying harmful consequences. The story includes battles with dragons, skyships, and Inquisitors; political and romantic paths; custom pets, baby dragons, and golems; magic-item collection; and side activities such as helping repaint cathedral murals or testing a board game. The game uses text only, without graphics or sound effects.
