Our take on cheapskate
The sandbox format trades finished structure for room to follow development and experiment with mechanics. Current content is intentionally incomplete, while several systems, sports, customization options, and multiplayer features remain planned or under development.
What is cheapskate?
A third-person skateboarding sandbox in pre-alpha early access, with arcade-style trick inputs and a world built around realistic scale, speed, and jump height.
The current build includes four work-in-progress levels, a gap-testing level, story and session modes, configurable challenges, time-of-day and weather variations, and skateboard customization. Skateboarding mechanics include manuals, grinds, slides, flip tricks, grab tricks, wallrides, reverts, powerslides, combo scoring, and balance meters. Players can host or join peer-to-peer sessions using a code, although multiplayer modes are still limited. A Godot-based pipeline supports imported custom levels. Future plans include other action sports, more character customization, additional missions, and expanded multiplayer challenges.
