Our take on Chantelise - A Tale of Two Sisters
The dungeon-based structure gives the game a defined adventure path, but leaves less room for open-ended exploration than games built around larger, freely roaming worlds.
What is Chantelise - A Tale of Two Sisters?
Chantelise is a classically styled action RPG following sisters Chante and Elise.
After a witch’s curse turns Chante into a fairy, the pair travel to a town surrounded by ruins in search of a way to restore her humanity. Their journey brings them into contact with a shopkeeper named Aira and a fortune-teller called Elma. Gameplay takes place across five main dungeons and two additional dungeons, with treasure placed in every area and boss encounters built around distinct challenges. Fishing provides a separate activity involving collectible fish. The game supports controllers, including XInput triggers and camera control through the right stick.
