Our take on Catmouth Island
The defining structure is an episodic point-and-click investigation, beginning with Mya’s attempt to discover what lies at the top of an infinitely tall house.
What is Catmouth Island?
Catmouth Island is an episodic 3D point-and-click adventure set across the Catface Islands.
Players control Mya, a student investigating the islands’ environment, little-known history, and the activities of B3 Corp. while keeping up with her studies. The game uses classic point-and-click conventions, with changes intended to reduce experimentation with every possible inventory combination. A scrapbook records tasks and progress, while a personal teleporter supports travel between locations. More than 60 human and non-human NPCs can be encountered, and location-specific music changes with the setting. The low-poly visual style draws inspiration from Nintendo 64 and Sony PlayStation games. Episode 1 follows Mya as she investigates an infinitely tall house.
