Our take on Catch a Falling Star
Rather than using combat, exploration, or a narrative campaign, the game centers on repeatedly catching falling stars and depositing them for points. Wind, ice, power-ups, and unlockable baskets vary this compact arcade structure.
What is Catch a Falling Star?
Catch a Falling Star is a casual game about catching falling stars to score points.
The basket fills during play, and points are awarded after depositing its contents at either side of the screen. Falling ice takes up basket space and slows movement, while wind pushes objects sideways. Power-ups include faster movement, an extra life, and temporary wind removal. Star coins can be used for additional basket space, more than 20 basket designs, extra themes, and one-use play effects. The game has three themes with separate music, online score submission, and controller support. Other hazards can remove a life, slow the basket, increase star speed, or add more ice.
