Our take on CAPTURED
Its defining structure is a memory test inside a repeating hallway: incorrect or missed anomaly reports erase the camera’s stored findings, while 13 correct captures are required to break the loop.
What is CAPTURED?
Investigate a seemingly endless hallway in a home where rooms become unfamiliar and unusual phenomena appear.
Use a camera to zoom in on suspicious changes, identify their anomaly types, and record them correctly. Missing or misidentifying an anomaly wipes the camera’s stored memory, while 13 correct captures are needed to escape the loop. The hallway is procedurally generated, with changing rooms and phenomena. Three monsters have distinct traits and mechanics, requiring strategic use of the flashlight, camera, and doors. The game presents its analog horror through a late-90s aesthetic, realistic graphics, minimal interface elements, darkness, and a custom movement system.
