Our take on Button City
The arcade activities span team combat, racing, and rhythm play, but they sit within a story-led adventure about saving one local venue. The page gives each game a distinct pitch, while the overall structure remains a narrative journey with side quests.
What is Button City?
Button City follows Fennel, a shy fox who has just moved to town and discovers its local arcade.
He befriends animal characters and joins them in trying to save the arcade from closure. The game combines exploration in a pastel diorama-style town with side quests, puzzles, costumes, and room decoration. Arcade activities include Gobabots, a team-based game where groups of four fruit robots compete to make the biggest smoothie; rEVolution Racer, which features electric-car racing and battery-charging drifts; and Prisma Beats, a rhythm game with challenge modes. Arcade games can be mastered to open additional modes and prize items. The story follows Fennel from beginning to end, with side quests available at the player’s own pace.
