Our take on BURGGEIST
The pitch gives equal weight to combat tactics, tower construction, exploration, and a family mystery, but it does not establish how these parts are structured across a full playthrough. The central tower objective is clear; the broader progression remains lightly defined.
What is BURGGEIST?
BURGGEIST is a real-time action-strategy game centered on a walking fortress commanded across the Aliscans.
Battles use elevation and terrain as tactical elements: players move around the field, assess the situation, choose an action, and create or protect a tower. The story follows Étoile, whose notebook receives messages from an unknown writer, and Ignace, a mathematician seeking a cure for his motionless wife, Lucile. The message links Lucile’s freedom to constructing a tower that reaches the heavens. Outside combat, players can travel freely through varied landscapes, encounter others, and make discoveries. These encounters provide abilities that expand the available combat strategies.
