Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a focused single-genre game may find the survival, action RPG, and tower defense systems divided across several activities.
- Players who prefer short, low-management sessions may not suit a game involving hunger, thirst, crafting, building, progression, and castle defense.
- Players looking specifically for cooperative tower defense may not find that focus here.
Our take on Brutal Inventions
The game combines several systems rather than centering on one. That breadth trades a narrowly focused tower-defense structure for added demands: survival needs, crafting, character progression, direct combat, and castle management all compete for attention.
What is Brutal Inventions?
Brutal Inventions combines 3D tower defense, survival, and action RPG mechanics.
Players manage thirst and hunger, craft 243 different items, and build a home in locations such as forests or lakesides. As a warrior, players equip clothing, a sword, and a shield, then gain levels, improve stats, and obtain special abilities through skill points. Towers and soldiers provide support early in the game, while direct combat becomes more important over time. For a defensive approach, players can increase their soldier count and protect the castle from continuously spawning creatures that attack the player, troops, and buildings. Barracks and archery ranges can produce soldiers that attack the enemy castle.
