What is Bread & Butter?
Bread & Butter is a top-down roguelite arena shooter built around two characters: a bread slice and a butter companion.
The pair fights through 25 waves of vegetable enemies on a small map while weapons fire automatically. Players control movement, dodging attacks, circling enemy groups, or pushing through them directly. Bread and butter can each carry up to six weapons, with six upgrade tiers for weapon effects. Items and buffs can be combined during runs to create different builds. Duos can also be mixed and matched, with teams offering perks suited to movement, loot collection, or close-range combat. The game uses cartoon-style characters and presents repeated survival runs against large enemy groups.
