Our take on Bow-wow Battle
The playful premise receives most of the attention, while the current scope is narrower: eight story stages, one survival mode, and voice-based battles. Several additions, including rankings, achievements, and extra breeds, are presented as future Early Access plans rather than current features.
What is Bow-wow Battle?
Compete as a dog in real-time 1v1 matches where microphone volume and repeated barks move a tug-of-war gauge toward a knockout.
Online matchmaking and friend invitations support Steam multiplayer. Dog Road provides eight boss stages, with breeds unlocked after clearing stages, while Crab Survival sends waves of enemies and includes five item-drop types. Seven dog breeds are available, and menus can be controlled through one-, two-, or three-bark commands, alongside keyboard controls. Daily challenges award WP, which also unlocks breeds after battles. The game includes English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language support. It is currently in Early Access, with additional breeds, rankings, stages, achievements, and audio content listed as planned updates.
