Our take on Bot Wars
Instead of keeping the player above the battlefield as an RTS commander, Bot Wars combines tactical orders with direct control of individual bots in third-person combat. Switching to first person further departs from the usual overhead command perspective.
What is Bot Wars?
Bot Wars is an action real-time strategy game about commanding robot squads and managing bases while taking capture points across a map.
Tactical mode lets players issue orders and draw routes for squad members. Combat uses a third-person view, with an option to switch to first person, and players can directly control individual bots. Squad composition can range from large groups of expendable units to smaller elite teams. Bases and defenses can be built and upgraded through multiple paths. The game features five corporate factions with distinct themes and styles in a neon setting accompanied by synth music. Players begin with a small squad and can later command larger groups while gaining access to endgame units.
